Need Cresswell, Summerville and Bate to play against Crewe. I think Bate can marinate in the u23 this season and in a couple years be a ready made Klich replacement the way Drameh is being groomed behind Ayling.

He’s like a blend of Phillips and Klich. If he stays healthy we should be able to rely on him as cover. Not as defensively skilled as Phillips or as attack minded as Klich but can do both jobs and 4 years ago he was one of Middlesbrough’s best players in the premier league.
It would be nice if Llorente has another long run in the team. We were really good at the back those last 2 months of last season.

Good to see them fight back and get a point. I think we need a signing though. O’Brien, a backup LB, Dan James, anyone. We had Klaesson and 4 teenagers on the bench today with 2 guys out with Covid. I can see why they wanted to keep Alioski despite always wanting to bring in a new left back. We just need a little depth. Gallagher on loan would’ve been such a good signing.
