That Mali goal was a badass individual effort.

Damn good match so far. Mali plays some nice stuff. I see why they are African Champs

Either one of these teams are going to be pretty tough for us.

Agree. It doesn't help that Tab doesn't understand the meaning of the term rotation. The U.S looked so tired yesterday. It's a shame because imo we have real good depth at most positions.

Flop or no? I couldn't even tell if his knee touched him.

Late goals by Saudi Arabia and Mali give Mali 2nd place in the group over Panama

Looks like we have the better side of the bracket, but sucks that we have France first.

Are we though? France, followed by Uruguay. Really freaking tough.

I'm not sure how you came up with that.

I think in terms of first teams I guess. I know U-20 isn’t necessarily the same quality as 1st team but I don’t have much else to go by. Top half seems to have more historically good teams.

What teams on the bottom half make it a more difficult path?

Well for starters we would have to beat France and Uruguay to get to the semis.

I think you underrated how good many of the non-traditional powers are at the youth levels.

France, Uruguay, South Korea beat Argentina, Japan tied Italy, Senegal won the group over Poland and Colombia, Nigeria would probably beat half the teams in the other bracket.

New Zealand and Colombia in penalties. Dreadful, dreadful penalties from most after three rounds.
