His set up play is super underrated.

Imagine how many goals he would have if he could actually finish!

It's hilarious that people want to replace him with Bobby fricking Wood.

You guys are insane if you think Jozy Altidore is the best America can do.

He's not the best we can do but he's the best we have.

Yeah and it's not particularly close.

Actually Jozy is the best striker we have by a wide margin right now.

I know Amon is fast and all that, but he’s got two goals to his name in the Danish league and if I’m not mistaken doesn’t have a cap at any level with the USNT. Basically less accomplished than Weah and your knock on Weah is that he isn’t accomplished

This. Weah has actually had starts with the PSG big guns, and is hailed as a big time prospect. He wouldn't even sniff first team minutes at PSG if he wasn't ready to go.

His supporting staff in friendlies was less helpful than he will have should he play with the Senior Nats.

2 goals and 3 assists in 10 games against some of the best teams in the league. Some of those games he was a sub.

He was most likely going to get a call up with the senior team this last go around, but I think he was injured. He got a call up to a U15 camp in 2014 and it seems like they lost track of him once he moved abroad. I think he's set to play a big part of this U20 cycle.

How? Weah only got a few minutes because almost all of PSG's attackers were hurt or resting for Champions League.

Watch some video on Amon and you'll see he has a lot of skill.

Not really.

He made three appearances with 1 start in a match where PSG had nothing to play for and used mainly youth team players. He more than likely will be loaned this season and if he's not he won't be dressing out for PSG.

Define "big time" and even so, being a prospect shouldn't mean you're starting for the USMNT in a match that matters. Earn it at the club level first, then earn it with the national team.

Yeah. He has some potential, but hes never been this huge prospect destined for success. And hes far from being a shoe-in to start for the USMNT in the near future.

TIFWIW, but I think even guys like Sciaretta have Amon ranked above Weah at this point.

You know you have to possess the ball to score right?

Jozy is huge for us in hold up play.

Yep, he set up I think 3 of Pulisic's goals in the hex with some really great one touch passing.

And speaking of wingers, Romain Gall seems to have turned it around. Scored and had an assist today, which brings his totals to 10 goals and 5 assists in 14 games in 2018.

He's not good, man. Sorry. I don't know why anyone thinks he is. It's the same arguments and excuses every time.
