Bobby Dodd's soccer configuration is five yards narrower and five yards shorter than MBS. You decide if that would really make a difference.

It would make a difference if it puts it below the CONCACAF minimum.

Like as an assistant or consultant, or are we talking about Tata’s replacement? Where is he coaching now?
ETA: so yeah, Reddit confirms he has zero coaching experience. This has to be some type of farce

Now de Boer seems to be the favorite. I wonder who the favorite will be tomorrow.

Felipe Cardenas
@FelipeCar
Former Barcelona defenders Gabriel Milito, Carles Puyol and Frank de Boer were all reportedly interviewed by #ATLUTD.

Bocanegra talked about how de Boer's staff will be involved with the oldest academy teams and USL. Some training sessions will be replicated throughout the club.

Part of the transfer for Pity may include a friendly against River Plate.

According to Diario Olé, #ATLUTD end up paying $12.57M total for Pity Martínez, plus add-ons. NOT the $15M release clause.
$10M cash to #River
$2.57M in fees/taxes
+$1.5M if he starts 10 games
+Friendly between the teams, River get the proceeds.

$12.57M total for Pity Martínez is a fantastic deal for #ATLUTD, but also benefits #River.
If ATL paid $15M release clause, River would only get $10.234M after deducting 20% of rights owned by player and 10% to agent. They waived fees, so River will end up with $11.895M total. LINK
