Espn is reporting that Tata has a verbal agreement to coach El Tri after the Mls season ends.

I would assume this would mean that Miggy will be gone at the end of the season.

Edit I am assuming that you mean Pity?

I don't think there's much question about that.

Love Miggy and I think he could have some success in Serie A, Ligue 1, or on some team in La Liga, but I don't think he'll be successful at all if he manages to move to the Premiere League. I just don't see him succeeding in such a highly physical football league.

1 more game left.

Standings
quote:

1 x - Atlanta United FC 69 2.09 33 21 6 6 69 40 29 11-2-4 10-4-2
2 x - New York Red Bulls 68 2.06 33 21 7 5 61 33 28 13-2-1 8-5-4

The next best team is at 59 points so the only question is whether Atlanta is 1st or 2nd place in the league.

Games(10/28 4:30 ET):

Atlanta United FC(#1 East) at Toronto FC(#9 East)

NY Red Bulls(#2 East) at Orlando City SC(#11 East)

The scenarios:

quote:

With a win, the Shield belongs to Atlanta regardless. With an Atlanta draw, it would take a Red Bulls win to turn the table. With an Atlanta loss, things get more complicated. A loss and a Red Bulls win, and it belongs to New York. A loss and a Red Bulls draw, though, and it'd come down to a tiebreaker–and perhaps multiple tiebreakers. Since they're both on the same number of wins, it'd go to goal differential, an area where Atlanta leads by one. Beyond that, it's goals scored, where Atlanta's edge is decisive. Regardless, both are overwhelming favorites to make it out of the east and host MLS Cup.

Basically just win and we are good. If we lose and NY RB draws then we will win on tiebreaker. If NY Red Bull wins and we lose or draw, they win it. Basically just root for them to lose or more importantly us to win. Both teams will probably win since the competition sucks.

Game kicks off at 4:30 ET on Fox Sports Southeast. Can't wait to watch!!!

And yes in soccer winning the regular season is considered winning the league. Even though the MLS does the dumb playoff thing,

Orlando City will throw that shite before they help AUFC win the Supporters Shield.

So we'd damn well be ready to beat Toronto.

Yeah, this Toronto game isn't going to be an easy win at all. I was really hoping that somehow Philly was going to help us out this past weekend, but it all boils down to we got our arse kicked when it mattered in New Jersey and we have to win a really tough game to finish it off. Hopefully Tito is back, I imagine that Miggy is still going to be out.

Sounds like we did everything reasonable to try to keep him. I wonder who is on the shortlist as a replacement.

A rumor came out before it was officially announced that Tata was leaving that Atlanta United had already been in contact with Guillermo Barros Schelotto the coach of Boca Juniors.

Atlanta United about to expose TFC and MB90. TFC playing 4-3-3 with MB90 as a solo CM. Everyone will see that MB90 does not have the legs anymore.

When has he ever done well as a solo CM? That's why Arena's line up in Trinidad was fricking retarded.
