Witsel is currently playing as a left mid in AVB's 4-3-3, but he can also play a central role. Typically a boss of the midfield, he's strong, good in the air, wins a lot of challenges, rarely loses the ball, can dribble well, and is a great passer. He does chip in goals at a decent rate and even is selected to take penalties. He said he would leave Russia when Zenit won the RFPL, but so far he's still here. He's been linked this summer with Juventus, Milan, Chelsea, and now Spurs. AVB plays really boring football, so I feel he's holding Witsel back and don't blame him for wanting to move on.

Btw, Zenit are in talks with Moutinho, so it seems like they're expecting Witsel to finally move.

If United spend 60M on someone, it better be someone way more established than Martial.
