Looks like Wolfsburg were lining up Dries Mertens to be a Kevin De Bruyne's replacement, but Napoli rejected their offer.

GARETH BALE ON THE TRANSFER BLOCK

Well, were it up to Spanish readers, RMs XI would look like this (given of course, DeGea doesn´t come):

Asier Illarramendi is on the verge of leaving Real Madrid. It only remains to be seen where his destination will be. He has been linked with Liverpool, his former club, Real Sociedad, and now, via La Gazzetta, with a move to Serie A champions Juventus. According to the Italian daily, Giuseppe Marotta has been in touch with Real Madrid to ask about the player's availability. After the summer arrivals of Casemiro and Mateo Kovacic, added to Luka Modric's recovery from injury, the club are unlikely to stand in Illarramendi's way.

Juventus are eager to finalize their squad for the upcoming season and are chasing several options: Porto left back Alex Sandro, Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler, and Chelsea outcast Juan Cuadrado. However, with Sami Khedira and Claudio Marchisio sidelined for the start of the season, Massimiliano Allegri could do with some reinforcements in midfield. Illarramendi will have a good friend already in place at the Juventus Stadium: he and Álvaro Morata, who made the move to Turin from Madrid last summer, were teammates when Spain won the under-21 Euros in Israel.

The fans at the Bernabeu would love that.

Honestly I may be OK with it too.

No reason we couldn't make it happen if we got rid of those three guys and we could offload Ramires or Willian as well and bring Loftus-Cheek into the fold for depth.

My roster would look like this...

Costa
Remy
Bamford

Hazard
Cesc
Matic
Isco
Griezmann
Mikel
Loftus-Cheek
Pedro
Willian

Terry
Ivanovic
Rahman
Azpi
Zouma
Cahill

Courtois
Begovic

Stones would be a bonus

I've probably just played too much manager mode.

He is really good, but that price is like ManCity levels.

Griezmann is now ~€70K or so, and Isco surely will be ~€60K at least, I don´t see the acquisition of both.

I think Oscar, Cuadrado, Ramires, and Moses would get us about 75m, I think we could get those two for 120m. I may have no idea what I'm talking about though.
