I think cause people wanted to play more weeks. The real season is 38 weeks, but we only play 36 weeks for a balanced schedule. It is not even kept in league history, but just something for fun.

Yes, correct. The Everton match is week 33, which is still ongoing. The transfer window opens on Thursday. People will hit triple digits in week 34.
