I'm pretty sure your supplemental draft position is only affected by players you drafted originally.
If not that's how it should be.

If any of the supplemental draft rules (or any of the league rules are unclear), then please let me know. Then again, I have no idea if anyone has ever read the league rules.

Not necessarily. You could technically pick up a player on waivers and, if they transferred out by the deadline and they're still on your roster, then you would move up.

I am not so sure about that, but you may have found a loophole. The intentions were for it to only be applied to drafted players, but I am not sure if the rules say that.

I wouldn't consider that a loophole. That's how it is in any league I've ever been in that uses supplemental drafts. I think most leagues assume players just won't start stockpiling players that are rumored to be leaving.
