Atlético Madrid have closed a deal to sign Slovenian goalkeeper Jan Oblak from Benfica. Los Rojiblancos will pay the 16 million euros in the player’s buyout clause and he is set to join the Madrid club immediately. Oblak did not return to training with Benfica in order to close the deal and could already be in the Spanish capital. Nevertheless, the move will not be made official until Monday.
With Oblak Atlético have now resolved their goalkeeping issues after Moyá joined the club from Getafe for three million euros.
Los Rojiblancos will also attempt to sign midfielder Gaitán from Benfica in a deal that could see two players unused by Simeone exchanged in the move: the Portuguese Silvio and French player Guilavogui, although the latter prefers a move to Wolfsburg.

Seeing that PSG reps are in Madrid to finalize a deal for Di Maria. I haven't seen that confirmed by any major news outlet though.

Duncan Castles is reporting Di Maria is snubbing ManU and wants to go to PSG. others saying that would mean they have to sell Cavani.
Real sells its players way better than Barça. at least recently. geez, they stand to make 20m more than Barça did for Alexis Sanchez!
wouldn't mind arsenal sneaking in for cavani at a cut rate. we've benefited greatly from these super clubs shifting their focus.

doubt you get him
Still need defenders anyway, no matter how many attackers you sign you won't replace Suarez. So many times last season he pulled you guys off the ground when you were stuck in a rut.

Do you expect us to go through the season with only Sturridge up top? We still need another striker. We'll still get our defenders. We have a lot of money left.
