Need to put in a bid for Agger... if he's going, I wouldn't mind him there..

There is nothing quite like the Barca media campaign when they have decided they want a player... they leave no stone unturned!

Starting to see reports that we paid £16mm + add ons for Lallana.. Not sure if thats some loop hole to circumvent them cutting Bournemouth a bigger piece of the pie or not... If they are performance based, then that doesn't sound too bad... if it rises, hopefully we are getting our money's worth...

If it is to get around the buy on clause it would be interesting if it was just something like £10 mil after 5 appearences, I bet that would lead to Bournemouth trying ot take it to court.

Happy for Ryn Gauld too, I think Portugal is possibly the best place for young talents to grow

I really like Agger but I don't think that's happening.

Seems we're pretty close to signing CB Marko Baša from Lille as more "veteran" experience and would think if Benatia is sold the replacement will be a younger guy with potential to be another Castan, Benatia but on first big club wages.

I'm disappointed that Benatia and his agent had this freakout with management as I really liked him.

However, I'm happier that it's him and not Castan. It's no coincidence that 2 years running a CB had his breakout season playing next to Castan.

Well I think the clause is pretty stupid anyway, but not our problem, that's all on Southampton

Question for LFC supporters (sorry or thread is anchored)...

Assuming Suarez is gone, and even if we get Sanchez in the deal, do you feel we need another CF? Is Studge and Lambert enough? If Borini stays or you comfortable with him? If we do bring in another CF, do you go young with an Origi type of do you want someone more established?

**Obviously, we still need help in defense, but lets separate the two for now..

i hope he goes to barca bc i don't want him terrorizing us, but it would be sad if barca boxed him in as a RB

if you managed to nab sanchez, he could certainly play centrally too. i don't think you'd need another.

yeah, I'm leaning towards someone young like Origi... loan him back to Lille if we keep Borini or sell Borini and bring him in...

Hopefully we get Sanchez to pair with Sturridge. And I keep Borini. He's still young and shows flashes of what he's capable of and I think he'd work well with Lambert, making runs off of him and Lambert's a good passer too so they should be able to link up well. In some cups we can always play younger guys like Yesil (if he stays and is healthy) or Sinclair.

I really hope the rumors about Sanchez not wanting to go to Liverpool and wanting to go to London are true.

Liverpool's managing director Ian Ayre is meeting officials from Barcelona in London on Wednesday to discuss the potential transfer of Luis Suarez, according to Sky sources.

Barcelona have made no secret of their admiration for the controversial Uruguayan striker, though Liverpool have so far made no comment.

If Barca meet Suarez's release clause - which is understood to be between £70 million and £80m - the transfer could go ahead and Liverpool could be particularly tempted if Alexis Sanchez moves in the opposite direction as part of the deal.

Transfer trío of KJK, to complement the BBC.
