Yep, and a lot of people agree... A lot don't and that's fine.
I don't expect you or Randy to agree, but that really wasn't the point of my post..

That too, but more for the initial reason...
By then he was just a shell of himself from his LFC days...

I know the point of your post we all know the spanish press can be ruthless as well.
But claiming it was blown out of proportion like Luis is some kind of victim is absurd and going along with the narrative his camp and their FA is using.
I agree with Dandy if it was only one incident nothing much would be made of it but multiple issue they spanish press would be trying to run him out of town like they have multiple elite players.
A move to Barca would be better than Madrid for him for sure. Seems like the media is more cut throat when it comes to Galacticos players.

No, they are saying he's done nothing wrong... I can see plain as day what he did was wrong and he should be punished. But calling for lifetime bans, two year bans... Calling him a monster is what is absurd and knee jerk.. But not unexpected..
Hell, 888poker just dropped him and I can't blame them, it's a business decision...
Edit: I am not suggesting the Spanish press would turn a blind eye, I would expect he would get slammed... Just not as severely as in England.

Seeing that Sunderland has bid £10.5 million for Borini.. I really like him, but think this would be a good move for him. Playing time and he seemed to enjoy his time there last season...

You guys would make out for sure but Barca is going to drive that price down from the 80 million but if Sanchez is part of the deal I don't think you get 50 for him.
Win/win situation for us. Try as they may, it would be silly to allow them to drive the price down. He missed, what, 10 games last season? Still won the boot and was the primary reason we were on 1st place's doorstep. I understand why they would want to, but it's not like we're desperate to get rid of him at all costs.

They are facing a transfer ban too... It may be now or never, hopefully we can use that as some sort of leverage...

Well he is a monster. The media over here isn't calling for lifetime bans and stuff like that. Don't blow it out of proportion his treatment.

Yea I expect Adidas and Beats to do the same soon.

Specialist sports lawyer Mark Gay told Sky Sports News he believes the Uruguay FA will struggle to come up with a credible appeal for Suarez.
FIFA banned Suarez from playing football anywhere in the world for four months for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini in the World Cup match with Uruguay. The ban covers nine international matches and the Uruguay FA are considering an appeal.
"It would require a huge degree of creativity to be able to come up with any appeal that would look remotely credible," said Gay.
"His appeal will, I think, be upon the proportionate nature of the sanction - whether or not a sanction of that length is proportionate bearing in mind the offence."
But the ban also weighs heavily on Suarez's club Liverpool. Should he remain at Anfield, Suarez will miss at least 12 club games - nine Premier League matches plus three Champions League games, and potentially a Capital One Cup match too - before a return at the end of October.
quote:
"They (Liverpool) are put to a choice, and it's not a good choice. They can either decide that they are going to keep the contract going so they elect to perform the contract.
"Or because this is so serious, they could elect to terminate the contract but of course that would make him (Suarez) a free agent so the calculation that people always do is 'is it worth keeping him?'
"There is a third choice, which is they could terminate the contract and sue him personally for damages, which was done (by Chelsea) in the case of Adrian Mutu who failed a drugs test, so that's no doubt one that they are considering.

Dude there is no way to blow out of proportion the absurdity of a man biting another man on the field three f'ing times in less than 4 years. If he were a normal human he would be in jail right now, and he probably should be anyway To consider he would do that at the World Cup after the criticism he took after the last incident shows just how batsh*t crazy and out of control this guy is. There is a zero percent chance something like this doesn't happen again.

Adidas has already come out and said they enjoyed the high moments with him and will support him through this low moment...
They have a longer relationship with him, I'm guessing that played into it
