Let's not get picky.

hell even the mid 30's price tag which is what it will probably be around from earlier reports is a lot for a guy his age that has injury issues. But he is that much needed last piece in the midfield
Posted on 7/31/14 at 10:04 am to WarSlamEagle
so which is it, he's not for sale or he's going to ManU?
two polar opposite news releases just 1 hour apart from one another

These prolonged transfer sagas never end well for United - see, e.g., Fabregas, Sneijder, Thiago. Considering the report favorable to United came from Metro, I'm not holding my breath.

Behrami to HSV for ~£4 mill.

Don't believe shite you read in regard to an Arturo Vidal transfer
Posted on 7/31/14 at 12:54 pm to hendersonshands
Oh, I don't. I'm just pointing out SCH's price pickiness about a possible (improbable) move for one of the best all-around midfielders in the world.

Carl Jenkinson joining West Ham on a season-long loan.

Liverpool are closing on a double deal for Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno and Atletico Madrid right-back Javi Manquillo, Sky sources understand. Chief executive Ian Ayre has flown to Spain to try and complete the transfers, which would take Liverpool's summer spending through the £100m barrier if completed.
Moreno would be a good buy, attack minded back. This morning they were saying the Manquillo deal is a loan. That doesn't make much sense bc I doubt you take someone on loan who can't contribute right away. He basically spent his time with the reserves.

Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin will not be leaving the club, insists manager Ronald Koeman, despite the midfielder handing in a transfer request. The 20-year-old Frenchman has been linked with a move to join up with former Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham, with Spurs reported to be ready to pay £20million.

The Daily Mail suggests that Thomas Vermaelen is to hold talks with Arsenal amid reported interest from Manchester United

Manchester United's bid to sign Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels is being aided by Liverpool, according to the Daily Mirror. United are reportedly nearing agreement on a £20million fee with Dortmund for Hummels after the Bundesliga club opened talks with Liverpool about a deal to sign centre-half Tiago Ilori on a season-long loan.

DAILY EXPRESS: Spanish champions Atletico Madrid are set to bid £14m for Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa.

He should be able to contribute right away, he was seeing some first team action until he fricked up his neck in that collision with Ronaldo... We don't need him to be a full time starter, but if nothing else, Glen Johnson is out of contract next summer and probably won't be renewed (seeing reports today that we are willing to offload him for £4mm), so he should get playing time and its a good opportunity to "kick the tires" and see if he is ready to be our starting RB next season..
Manquillo, Moreno and a striker... and hopefully we're done!

Arsene Wenger has also been talking about strikers. The Arsenal manager says there was never any truth in reports linking the Gunners with a swoop for AC Milan's Mario Balotelli, while Costa Rica international Joel Campbell will now get a first-team chance.

Everything Ive heard is that it would be a loan... It's been widely known all summer that we would like him to go back out on loan, but most speculation led to Spain..
I'm not sure about how much game time he'd get at Dortmund with Pop Saka, Subotic, Ginter and Hummels (if he stays or leaves)
