Is Man City still pursing one of Benatia or Mangala? Both would be solid pickups to help out the center back position next to Kompany.

I think they are still ironing out details of a deal for Mangala.

only if they were trying to offload him after loading up at the cb position. 23-25 sounds more realistic.

Celtic has turned down a "derisory" offer for Forster from Southampton.

1. frick Southampton

2. Why do they want to collect all of Celtic's keepers?

In other news, Leicester wants to be relegated. 17 mill for Ulloa and Deeney

Deeney looks like he never gives a frick. Sometimes when I'm by myself around the house I scream his name like that commentator did after he scored against Leicester.

Keith Costigan was doing interviews with Roma officials and Francesco Totti earlier today. Tweeted these out:

@KeithCostigan: Roma owner James Palotta on American player coming to Roma "we will have an announcement in the next few weeks

@KeithCostigan: Roma wouldn't elaborate on what American player they are looking at but doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who

Looks like the transfers of Ben Davies and Michel Vorm to Tottenham and Gylfi Sigurdsson to Swansea are officially, official:

quote:

@SpursOfficial
We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Swansea City for the transfers of Ben Davies and Michel Vorm.

quote:

@SpursOfficial
Left back Davies has signed a five-year contract, while Dutch goalkeeper Vorm has agreed a four-year deal.

quote:

@SpursOfficial
The transfers will also see Gylfi Sigurdsson return to the Welsh club where he spent time on loan in 2012 & we wish him well for the future.

The Vorm move baffles me. Unless there is something unknown on the horizon with Lloris, isn't he just saying he's okay not being a regular starter?

Check out the Dynamo season long thread on the first page. There's a good bit of discussion on there about it.
