im wondering if berardi coming in means they are going to deploy byram as more of a right winger, although it sounds like we've been going back and forth bewteen 4-3-3 and a diamond midfield

It just makes no sense to me. We have 3 guys who are just as good, better even, than either of them and two young guys in Kalas (though I think we sent him on loan already) and Zouma who we could give minutes to in a pinch or in league cup matches and the like. No need in spending near 30 million dollars to bring in a bench player who is pushing 30.
Now a 21 year old Varane who could contribute this year and step in next year or the year after and be our new Terry for the next decade? Yes please!
I'll try to stop harping on it though because it obviously isn't going to change.

Salerno announced today the deal between Leeds and catania for Bellusci is dead due to "economic reasons"... like I said earlier probably a wages.
