I may actually get a home kit. I do like the third kit (not as much as Everton's though).

I'll either get all white or blue though... I said I would so I'm kitting it up.

That second goal was very nice... I'm excited.

doukara is versatile to play up front or on the left or behind a guy like smith or sharp. great to have options. boro will be tough this weekend.

sigh, all this business could have/should have been done weeks ago, was clear in preseason the squad was not ready to compete at a realistic level...nevertheless, glad we have made these deals

Better late then never. Allegedly 3 more signings before the window closes. Squad is already huge... so dunno about that.

Is rooting for Everton (or anyone in the EPL) permissible? I feel like I should pick up an EPL team just to have someone to root for, but I can't betray Leeds. And so many EPL teams are obvious no gos due to Leeds fandom (Man U, anyone from London, Man U, City, Sunderland, Man U, etc). I feel like Everton doesn't really conflict with Leeds fandom, particularly since we're in the States and can only get about 3-4 Leeds games a year. I need a ruling.

Speaking of games on TV, Leeds is on BeIn this Saturday. The 'Boro game will be on the TV in the Baloo den.

I think quietly following/cheering for either Liverpool team is ok.

Leeds have never had any ill will toward either team and when Leeds won the league, they did so at Anfield. Shankly visited the locker room and congratulated the team, also the Kop chanted "Champions" after the match.

ALso heard Newcastle is ok to cheer for as they are northern, but I don't support any other english team.

Found myself watching a lot of Atletico Madrid matches last season, but I don't support anyone other than Leeds United.

i know some of our liverpool friends on here are pulling for leeds, just to have an additional thorn in man united's side from a rivalry standpoint

kinda how most LSU fans want tennessee to get good again to pose a bigger threat to bama

i dont live and die with everton but i've had fun following them since its kept me in tune with the top flight. hoping they do well in europa this year.

Kieran Agard rumors getting louder, as are the Mirco Antenucci rumors as well.

We have 8 forwards on the books right now (Sharp, Smith, Morison, Ajose, Doukara, Hunt, Poleon, Walter) That is a lot of mouths to feed. No way we bring in Agard and Antenucci without offloading a few.

Youth: Walter(19) and Poleon(20) could see loans.

Older: Hunt(31), Morison(30), Sharp(28) I think one of these should go... I think we all know which.

Others: Doukara(22), Ajose(22), Smith(25) should be in a regular rotation this season.

Possible addtions: Agard(24), Mirco Antenucci(28) where would they fit in?

Midfield is even more confusing:

Youth: Alex Mowatt(19), Chris Dawson(19), Lewis Cook(17), Zan Benedicic(18) these are some very good midfielders, they all need playing time.

Old arse Men: Austin(29), Tonge(31), Norris(33) meh, I don't rate any of them, Austin is the best of the meh.

Others: Murphy(24), Bianchi(25), Zac Thompson(21)

Hock better be a good man manager, because these mixed with the striker/winger hybrids above will be a nightmare to select each week.

Defense is pretty straight forward though.

i'll be fine with calling it a day after agard, maybe add another CM just to get a little younger in that department, though cook seems to have a very bright future.

Mirco Antenucci

I haven't watched as much Serie B the past couple of years as I used to so I'm not sure how good his form has been but he was always fun to watch. Probably lacks the quality to excel against absolutely top level defenders so hasn't garnered a lot interest from Serie A clubs but he plays with a lot of flair. A lot of solid Italian strikers seem to develop really later on so he may have a few of his best years ahead.

The guy who made this video agrees: youtube

He also scored arguably the goal of the season last year: Antenucci Amazing Goal

I hope Leeds gets him. I've been following the news a bit since Cellini is, of course, quite a cult figure in Italy and so Leeds is getting a lot of coverage in Italian media.

I was hoping you guys would get Viviani on loan but I think the main unspoken thing that caused him to choose Latina was simply that Latina's a suburb of Roma and therefore has many close ties to AS Roma. Viviani's a kid like Totti, De Rossi, Florenzi etc who grew up a passionate Roma fan and has his heart set on making the roster.

Really wanted viviani...loved the reports on him. Good news is we have a 17 year old lewis cook who is thriving in a similar role.

Tomasso bianchi looks like a bargain as does silvestri. Bellusci will be a hit with leeds fans

Agard signing being leaked on twitter, but not official yet. Still would like to see the team sign another CB, but they've improved a ton in the past week.

Yeah, I don't think you can cheer for Liverpool not because of bad blood but because you'd be such a tourist. Liverpool has suffered, and you're either all in or you're not. I am fond of Liverpool, but my respect for them is that I won't pretend to half arse it as a fan for them. Everton doesn't require the same kind of commitment. It doesn't feel as wrong to quietly and passively root for them.

I do like a lot about Newcastle, though. The jerseys, the city, and their tough as nails style. They are very much in the "dirty Leeds" tradition. They were my other option.

i do think leicester has a chance to surprise some people. that said, roberto being in charge at everton just seals the deal.
