Big Diego López just signed by Real Madrid. Back home, from an important spell at Villareal and lately, Sevilla.

Congratulations. That should make losing Luis Suarez easier.

I'm not entirely optimistic about the transfer

ETA if there is a single club to lose Suarez to, I would love it to be Bayern

Yeah that's just going to take minutes away from Bendtner.

I've been reading a lot about Peter Odemwingie handing in a transfer request with QPR being one of the possible destinations. Truth to that? Where is QPR getting all of this money?

Also, I see that ESPN and BBC Sport are reporting it.

He's apparently melting down on twitter right now because West Brom said no.

Here it is

Yup, deal is done. Medical Monday.

The deal is supposedly front-loaded. Possible add-ons based on performance/appearances/etc, but they accepted it over Southampton's because most of the money will be sent immediately.

Looks like they're going all in for Paulinho.

That's probably a good sign. As I've said, I've been a bit concerned since Coutinho wasn't able to may headway at Inter but maybe he's simply their more dispensable piece to let go to clear some money for Paulinho who everyone in Serie A seems to have been slobbering over for a while.

The other "can't miss" star in the making that's seemingly having a hell of a time convincing Stramaccioni he deserves minutes is Ricky Alvarez. He just oozes quality whenever I see him but I suppose just isn't getting it as far as tactics.

Liverpool's going to be fun to watch as soon as Rogers brings in enough players for his system. Tough that he had to re-build in the almost exact opposite direction from Dalglish.

Where is Galatasaray getting all of this cash? Can't be just from getting into the final 16, right?

ESPN FC ?@ESPNFC

Didier Drogba is tipped to sign for Galatsaray, after his management agency confirmed they have made a bid for him. LINK

They pay a shite load less in wages than other countries and that is allowing them to compete for top players who are near the end of their career.

And didn't you say something about a tax break in Turkey or something like that?

Wonder what kind of transfer fee they'll have to pay to the Chinamen. He's not out of contract, right?
