That would be a good buy, though I'm not sure he's worth 20 mil. I would have loved to see him lead the line without Falcao.

It will be interesting to see if he joins. Not sure why he would in all honesty, unless he is on very small wages.

He's rather versatile. Can play of the front three. He's also big and strong, good technically, and is a decent enough finisher. I really thought he was going to blow up with Falcao gone.

Part of me hopes that this means 'Pool are resigned to losing Suarez, but that doesn't mean it will be to Arsenal, which is unfortunate.

We need to make some signings, but Wenger is being gunshy. Hopefully he pulls something out of his arse if everything falls through, which has a high probability of happening.

Our director reiterated today that the #1 priority this offseason is to keep Suarez. They clearly have no intention of selling him unless an absurd bid comes along.

One more attacker and a quality CB and I feel LFC could actually push for 4th. Anything less and I think it will be another battle for 4th/5th.

Hard to really blame Arsene or management. They've put in big bids for big players, it just hasn't worked out.

Maybe if they would have gotten started sooner.

He´s also a head case. He´s much improved, but still has problems. He doesn´t seem to bite, however.

LFC would be the most hated team in Europe between the most hated player in La Liga (from what I've read) and the most hated player in the Prem.

Ive seen it reported that he is on £15mm/wk... we can easily triple/quadruple that, if true...

With AM bringing in Villa and Baptistao ( do they still have Adrian??)... I can see them letting him go and taking the cash...

I think there is a dearth of quality in the tier 2 transfer market, which is where Arsene has operated for the last decade. The last big player we got was Jose Antonio Reyes, in 04, who even then was just a player with massive potential. Also a lot of other teams have caught up to us in terms of scouting. We'll have to go deeper and deeper to find quality at a good value. At some point it's probably not worth it.

Emre Can to Bayer Leverkusen. Bayern has a buy back option. Tweezy suggested this kind of move yesterday.
