I used to not mind Leverkusen but that was only bc I started following when captain ballack was still pwnin fools. Now I don't find any of them interesting. Too bad they didn't give us Lars

Hopefully not 40mm but I'm excited. We need it.

Getting Javi will make me feel so much better. I really hope there is fire to all this smoke.

I heard a few weeks ago that bayern submitted either €32mm or €34mm offer, don't know if this is what they would be accepting or if we came back with a higher number.

Is Bayern looking at Martinez primarily as a CB or DM?

Ehh I'm led to believe this is primarily for DM to pair w/ schweinsteiger, but his versatility and the long season will see him playing cb from time to time.

Eta: also our cb's kind of suck so if things get hairy he might have to play there more consistently

I could see him playing cb a lot, BUT we are bringing him in to play dm. If Badstuber and Boateng can improve, we will get to play him along side jesus. If not, he'll be in the back.

I thought müller played well, glad to see him back in form. Really not thrilled jupp didn't let shaq play more. Javi deal looks done and with that Luis Gustavo is demoted to a bench player.

I wont blame this all on Gomez but we looked less stagnant today. 2nd half was a bit suspect but all in all I was pleased with the team. Reus was decently quiet and lewa was nearly invisible. Scored a nice goal though.

Neuer got a hip pointer today and dropped out of Germany's friendly v Argentina

First half went almost exactly how I would want. We gave up very little and controlled it.

Not sure what changed in second half - we were lucky not to give up more goals. They found a lot of space in our backline for some shots.

Wanted to see more shaq in a competetive game, but I'm sure we will see a lot more of him soon.

Dante was better than I thought - especially in the first half. But it's still our weakest position overall.

Javi basically about to suit up for us. looks like it's just a waiting game now

ETA captain lahm had a child this morning. bad news lukas raeder tore one of his knees up, out for i think 6 months.

eta2 friesenbichler got his hat trick, assist from benno schmitz. i believe thats his second on the day

Is Javi official yet? I was looking at Bild and it said he contributed to a 40 million euro transfer with 10 million of salary, but there is nothing on the bayern website yet.

It's awesome that these reports about him giving up money to come to Bayern seem to be true. Nothing better than a guy that wants to play for your team.
