You were able to see him become a man child at Manu, and then become godlike at Real.

If you watch games from the French 1st Division, this was coming. A very poor league, take away the glory whores, trying to buy the league, and it's a mess.

They over loaded their league with African players, and the play is poor, fundamentals are lacking, and just really bad soccer.

It's really bad soccer, and the French national Team is starting and will begin to suffer from it.

I'm guessing they hoped bringing them in, young, so they could create Fake frenchmen, but it seems most stay with their African nations, so the plan has back fired, if that was some ones asinine plan.

PSG and Monaco pretty much own the league now and some of their best players aren't even French. I don't expect it to get much better if the government is going to tax millionaires at 75%.

I think you're a bit misguided in this view.

First of all, the "Africans" who play for France are French citizens born in France. The last great French player who wasn't actually born there I think was Vieira.

The French don't suffer because their league has started to take a turn for the worse, they are suffering since 2006 because they don't have a replacement for Zidane, a coach that can make the most of their talent, and have less chemistry than a kindergarten "science" class.

Zidane brought a different attitude to that team - hard working, elite play without boisterousness and the terrible "it's all about me" attitude that many French players seem to have, especially that '87 class. They haven't matured and formed the cohesive unit that French fans would have hoped for.

No Zidane. No Henry. No Vieira. No team. Just a bunch of individuals. Tell me one player who brings the quality of play they show with their club team to the national side. Yeah...
