Not sure Mignolet had too much of a chance but his reaction was a little late.

Cissokho just strayed into Mignolet's sight line, causing him to react slowly and, thus, too late.

I hate that call, but he shouldn't have even touched that dude. You KNEW what he was going to do.

And the red card/penalty kick rule ruins another match. Correct call by the rule, but one play has just essentially decided the game. The rule needs to be changed

Don't put your hand on the shoulder of they player that's on goal and you won't get a red card.

It was an incredibly stupid play and I'm not saying it was a bad call im saying its a bad rule. You could make the argument that the red card and penalty kick rules are both too punitive as currently constructed but to combine them in one call...

That's his own damn fault for being out of position and getting himself into a situation where he needed to pull down Luis from behind

Jesus Christ it doesn't matter that it's a dumb play. It's a play that happens entirely too often to get penalized the way it is. It probably happens in about 10% of games and it completely determines the game. Just bc you're a pool fan and you're benefiting from it doesn't mean you have to defend the logic of the rule.

You can tell Quidditch was imagined up by a Brit bc only they would invent a sporting action like catching the Snitch, which virtually renders every other action in the game moot

Don't get beat and if you do it's in your teams best interest to not touch Suarez in the box.

The equivalent of this rule in basketball would be if an intentional foul on a breakaway was worth like 15 points and the team that committed the foul had to play with 4 men for 6 minutes

There is no equivalent when comparing a five man game to an eleven.
