Holy shite this is massive. I don't think anybody caught this during today's cabinet meeting but Trump just launched his opening Salvo against the Federal Reserve and the IRS!!!! First a tiny little history lesson: Back in the day before the Federal Reserve and the IRS the US government was funded by import tariffs. Import tariffs kept the government funded and in check because the government can only gets as big as its funding will allow. When the Federal Reserve came in, tariffs started to disappear because the federal government was funded by Federal Reserve notes, which is fiat currency. What that means is that every time the US government needs to pay for something it has to go to the Federal Reserve Central Bank which is a private Corporation which would print the money out of thin air, backed by nothing, AT INTEREST, which was then passed on to us the American People in the form of the Income Tax. This private Corporation then loans the money to the US government with interest attached to it. Well, who pays the interest on the money the government borrows from the Federal Reserve? WE DO!!! the US taxpayer see the form of the income tax. WHAT TRUMP JUST SAID HERE IS MASSIVE HE JUST TOLD THE WORLD THAT YOU CAN FUND THE US GOVERNMENT THROUGH IMPORT TARIFFS AND THAT THROUGH DOING SO WE DON'T HAVE TO PAY INCOME TAX AND BACK IN THE DAY WHEN WE DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY INCOME TAX WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY DEBT!! The Cliff Notes version? Trump is slowly putting the tariffs back in place to prepare for his battle against the Federal Reserve in the second term. If he can slowly restore the Tariff structure of the US government and fund our government that way, then he can then go after the Federal Reserve and the IRS and they can't do anything retaliatory to destroy the economy because we will have money coming in from import tariffs. Remember this.

Would this transition be good for the people of the United States, potentially limiting the size and power the government holds over us now.....or would this create a situation where our government would rely on funding from other countries, opening the door for the US to be controlled from the outside.
Why are corporations considered individuals? Should we just do away with corporations? If we look back at the creation of corporations, they were only supposed to be government contracts that expired.
quote:

Early American charters were created literally by the people, for the people as a legal convenience. Corporations were "artificial, invisible, intangible," mere financial tools. They were chartered by individual states, not the federal government, which meant they could be kept under close local scrutiny. They were automatically dissolved if they engaged in activities that violated their charter. Limits were placed on how big and powerful companies could become. Even railroad magnate J. P. Morgan, the consummate capitalist, understood that corporations must never become so big that they "inhibit freedom to the point where efficiency [is] endangered."

quote:

In the early history of America, the corporation played an important but subordinate role. The people -- not the corporations -- were in control. So what happened? How did corporations gain power and eventually start exercising more control than the individuals who created them?

Or would it allow the government to control too much?

quote:

The two hundred or so corporations operating in the US by the year 1800 were each kept on fairly short leashes. They weren't allowed to participate in the political process. They couldn't buy stock in other corporations. And if one of them acted improperly, the consequences were severe. In 1832, President Andrew Jackson vetoed a motion to extend the charter of the corrupt and tyrannical Second Bank of the United States, and was widely applauded for doing so. That same year the state of Pennsylvania revoked the charters of ten banks for operating contrary to the public interest. Even the enormous industry trusts, formed to protect member corporations from external competitors and provide barriers to entry, eventually proved no match for the state. By the mid-1800s, antitrust legislation was widely in place.

Has the government changed from being ran by the people for the people to being ran by the companies for the companies in disguise of individual freedom from the oppressive government?
serve the government they get paid by that is. Do we not think that a police officers job is as follows: You were hired by the public, with public funds, to protect the citizens and their rights from day to day? I mean Who on here is a cop and thinks like the local Deputy at the sheriffs office, thinking his job is simply to enforce laws, regardless of the implications on the general public.

Welcome any commentary from any police officers on here if you have the balls to do anything without your badge
If you had to guess, what would you say the average IQ of tiger droppings users as a whole would be? 75-85 id think

After 30+ comments I am dying laughing at the fact everyone here wants to credit themselves with a 100+ IQ!!!!!!
“They always call the other side ‘the elite’. Why are they elite? I have a much better apartment than they do,” the US president said.

“I’m smarter than they are. I’m richer than they are. I became president and they didn’t. And I’m representing the greatest, smartest, most loyal best people [sic] on Earth – the deplorables, remember that?” LINK
I not looking for modifications to the present model, I'm wanting to know if anyone has thought of another economic model. We admittedly have millions in our country who are poor. Yes some are POS and others are just not smart. We give up 40+ hours a week to someone else, creating income for them. Some earn their wealth, while others waste the wealth earned for them. What type of system would be a more fair society? Do we even want a more fair society?
Are the pleiadians and anunnaki just the gods and the fallen angels?

Miki Zohar: I’ll tell you one basic thing, so that maybe someone who’s sitting there at home would listen to me well, and maybe those who are sitting at the studios and at editorials would listen well to me: The public in the state of Israel is a public which belongs to the Jewish race [sic], and the whole Jewish race is the greatest human capital [sic], and the smartest and the most understanding, and sometimes also the most educated… (Host) Anat Davidov: No no, this is not serious… Zohar: And that’s why you can’t fool us, the Jews, you can’t, and it doesn’t matter what you’ll write in the media, and it doesn’t matter what you’ll report all day. The public knows what the Prime Minister is doing for the state of Israel, how excellent a Prime Minister he is, and how this state is prospering and blooming… (Host) Yinon Magal: Dan Margalit, a final statement. (Dan Margalit talks about Netanyahu corruption scandals).
Apparently this girl discovered all the US presidents except one, Martin Van Buren, can be traced back to King John Lackland, the king who signed the “Magna Carte”. BS or no?

Should we really be spending so much every year on preserving life instead of advancing it? Why do the poor, sick, and old get such a large chunk of the pie?
Why have humans consistently been running faster and faster times in races while Secretariat still holds and unbreakable record at Belmont?
Has anyone heard of this dude Huntley Grichor? He was charged with murder several years ago and has been out on bail(Only 50,000 might I add), working at a good company, making a life for himself after he stabbed some other guy in the tit. Anyone know any real deets?
Does this community think it has a group of one type of person or does this community think everyone here is different and open minded?

Do girls always have a problem....

Lakers Future

I'm gonna predict the Lakers will miss the playoffs, Nash will retire, and Dwight will leave in free agency. Meaning Kobe will have the most miserable next year and end up retiring.
