What was the reason by YouTube for pulling the stream?

The hilarious thing is that conservatives demanded this. They just didn't expect the corporate machines to work against them.

If you don't like what Youtube is doing, start your own company and do something better.

I lived through it. Once upon a time, CNN, NBC, etc were shills for corporate America. I recall CNN celebrating the bombings during the first gulf war. The journalists were liberal, but they were mostly neo liberal and pragmatic enough to fall in line with the wishes of the people who ran things.

They (often because of advertisers) shunned people for being too politically incorrect. Conservatives would tell me thats free markets and if these news corporations werent being fair then another news corp would come in, fill that gap, and beat them. They constantly touted that corporations know best. This supposedly kept things in check.

Fast forward to day and wow, what a difference 30 years makes.

How is this (companies that create their own content and air it) the same as companies that have protections for being free and open platforms selectively deleting content? These networks can air whatever the hell they want. What's not right are the social media platforms that get to claim to be one thing and then act as the opposite.

Nope. Just a casual observer.

Some of you younger baws don't realize what mainstream media used to be.

Here's an example of some of their work: LINK

What you are doing is comparing a publisher to a platform and equating the two, so you must not know the difference to know why conservatives would be up in arms about Youtube.

Yeah, sure buddy.

Enjoy watching your football games while the announcers openly campaign against you and conservative stars are compelled to wear the name of rapist on their foreheads.

Right so I call you out on making incorrect assertions and your only reply is to make yet another incorrect assertion or whatever that was.

Sounds like more than a casual observer. Sounds like you were quite invested and have been carrying outrage in your mind over the injustice for quite some time. 30 years, by your words.

What argument? It's historical record. You can all high-five each other for ignoring reality if you want. That doesn't make it less ironic that corporations all over the country are steamrolling conservative voices right now.

I find what is happening to be appalling, btw. It's incredibly dangerous. It's too bad that liberals are okay with it because it benefits them and conservatives are too weak/dumb to fight it.
