Because God forbid we hold people to the standards with which they ran for public office!!!!

Nobody chooses where to "give their taxes" bruh. That's a key part of the problem.

Maybe we should start teaching world history in highschool instead of civics.
Young Turks (Turkish: Jön Türkler, from French: Les Jeunes Turcs)[citation needed] was a political reform movement in the early 20th century that consisted of Ottoman exiles, students, civil servants, and army officers.[1] They favoured the replacement of the Ottoman Empire's absolute monarchy with a constitutional government. Later, their leaders led a rebellion against the absolute rule of Sultan Abdul Hamid II in the 1908 Young Turk Revolution.[2] With this revolution, the Young Turks helped to establish the Second Constitutional Era in 1908, ushering in an era of multi-party democracy for the first time in the country's history.[3]

Ironically, that would be because of Louisiana's own former governor Buddy Roemer.

(Breaking my pledge to ignore such stupidity)
You must be a robot - no human mind could hold such completely backwards thought in their head other than to mock it. To actually state such a splatter of ignorant stupidity is non-human.

That's so ignorant. We are the government. If we want to set up a system that is recurring then we use the government. But aside from that I feel like you're full of crap. A bunch of people being so upset my social programs and being taxed that literally say things like "why are they my problem?" Are not charitable people. Sorry but I I'm going to have to call you out on that one.

Jesus. You have been reduced to nothing but a whataboutism spouting NPC lately. Your party is the one constantly touting about needing to help the poor. His question is relevant. You just can’t handle your oarty’s Hypocrisy and ineffectiveness (in reality your party doesn’t really care about the poor...just lip service for votes). Instead of actually trying to do something that your party says is a priority you simply say “Republicans bad”. You are low education and sadly a caricature of a stereotypical progressive.
So you're going to call them out for not helping the homeless enough well while being from a party that doesn't do anything is hypocritical. I mean how moronic is that? You're going to stand on a soapbox and call someone else out while doing nothing about the same subject?
quote:
Hypocrisy and ineffectiveness
Which is it? On one hand you're saying they're Hypocrites cuz they're not doing enough, which is hilarious because your party does nothing, and on the other you're saying that theyre ineffective. Are you just trying to cover every possible situation? Are they in effective in helping the poor or they intentionally not helping the poor? You can't have it both ways dummy.
quote:

My party actually does attempt to help the poor. There are a lot of roadblocks in doing so and usually it's because of you guys so you standing here and saying anything about it when you come from a party that doesn't do a single thing or even talk about it....well it's laughable.

It's funny how much you guys all start saying the same things at the same time and then accuse us of being NPCs. The irony is not lost on me

You don't need your mommy gov to make you help the homeless.

What roadblock is preventing YOU from walking up to an atm, pulling out cash, and giving it to homeless?
What’s stopping YOU from allowing an illegal immigrant from living in YOUR home?
What’s stopping YOU from buying food at a grocery store, and giving it to someone less fortunate?
What’s stopping YOU from buying clothes for the needy?
What’s stopping YOU from mentoring a child from an impoverished home?

Then why is it that conservatives consistently give more to charity than liberals?
"While red counties may be more philanthropic, tax rates are higher in blue counties, reflecting stronger support for collective action and for a social safety net of services and organizations. “The county you live in and the political ideology of that county affects the tax burden of the community,” Dr. Nesbit said. “That in turn has an effect on charitable contributions. If you leave tax burden out of the equation, you’re not getting the full story.”
Importantly, the study did not find that in Republican counties, private funds replaced public funds so that social services were equally supported.
Those in favor of lower taxes have argued that individuals are more capable than the government of allocating money to important causes, including people in need of assistance. But the study found that was not true. Donations do not match government assistance, and without tax money, social services are not funded as robustly."
“The evidence shows that private philanthropy can’t compensate for the loss of government provision,” Dr. Nesbit said. “It’s not equal. What government can put into these things is so much more than what we see through private philanthropy.”

Also, it’s not equal because a certain group of people *coughliberalscough* don’t believe in philanthropy. They believe in the govt.
If the govt doesn’t take it, they aren’t going to give it.
I give you example A.
Bernie Sanders.

Infrastructure is more important. Having Social Services to deal with it is better than handing a homeless person cash, you nitwit.

I do help because I support Community Services and social programs. I do a lot more than you do, you back door little bitch. You just sit here and run your mouth from on high and act like you care. Why even waste the effort?

Why doesn’t Bernie Sanders donate his money to charity?
You’d think the main man himself would donate every penny he doesn’t need for his basic needs to charity.
Instead he buys a new lake house and sports car.
Do as I say. Not as I do, right bitch?

To where? And how exactly is that better than Social Services? How much of that went to administrative costs and how much actually went to the homeless? Do you even know or did you just do it for a tax break?

Because he votes on legislation that is better for infrastructure. That would directly come out of his taxes which means he would be paying more. I don't know what you guys don't understand about that. Maybe if you would read what I posted then you would have a little better understanding instead of just jumping to the next thing you want to say

Various charities, local churches.

Doing something out of kindness > doing something out of force.
If only everyone was charitable and didn’t require the govt to do it. Like you.
