Nah, you just fooled the company hiring you. They didn’t learn until afterwards that you frequently lie.

Admit it. You lied about private sector employees receive higher total comp than government employees.

You were right about one thing you wrote. Government employees have higher job security.

Those government fricks up can’t be fired for anything short of embezzlement.

It’s why so many people dread having any dealings with a government deadhead bureaucrat. And resent them, too.

Obviously, according to the PT Board, that 63% are all government workers and not the private sector.

You seem like a guy interested in maximizing your value, surely you work for the government then.

It's all starting to make sense...

Oh, don't bring that up, Displaced Buckeye will carry on for 15 pages telling you you're wrong.

The thing is I am not trying to be an arse or hard hearted towards these laid off workers. I have been self employed pretty much all my adult life and in the beginning I missed mortgae payments and car payments. Pinched pennies to keep the lights on and food on the table but I continued to bust my arse and got everything caught up. Now I have a very comfortable living. The difference between me and the laid off workers is that sometimes I had no idea where the next sale was coming from. These workers are going to get paid so forgive me if I take their "financial woes" with a grain of salt.

If you’re going hungry because you’re sitting on your duff waiting to go back to your federal job, I have very little sympathy for you.

You’re ignoring the fact that most federal workers still have to go to work. Most aren’t at home watching General Hospital, they are working without getting paid.

They should try working in the private sector where they don't have unions protecting them and their employer could lay them off at any time. That's how most of the rest of us live.

You realize that unions started with private employers and still represent more private employees than federal employees.

And people need to stop saying gubment workers. Say what agency and workers you are discussing! FBI, COA, ICE, Federal Courts, Bureau of Prisons, FDIC, Boarder Patrol, Office of Nuclear Energy, Homeland Security, OSHA, NLRB, Armed Forces, NASA??? What workers are you talking about? They aren’t all the same. Grouping them together makes you seem small minded and guided by MSM talking points.
