Wait, they hate the 99% of the world's population that are stinking socialists?
Let's run the numbers on the population of the planet that are not assholes:
326 million Americans.
Minus all the illegal people = 300 million.
Minus all the liberals = 150 million.
Minus all the RINOs = 50 million.
Divided by the total world population of 7.4 billion = 0.0067.
Multiplied by 100 = 0.67%.
Two-thirds of one percent of the world's population aren't fricking commie liberal beta cuck snowflake assholes.
MAGA, bitches!

You should start with yourself first. It's the liberal/progressive way.

What you see as Xenophobia (not wanting the world at our economic tit) I see as putting America first. The actual overarching theme for liberal/progressives is self loathing and an undying hatred for America.

I’m waiting for his response as well. It’s so easy to make a blanket statement and then not back it up.
What? If we don't allow the Democrats and their ignorant minions to do this, they will have nothing but skyscreaming and physical assault on children and the elderly.

This can be done without showing disdain for everybody else. Try leading by example.

So right there you hate half of America. Throw in the McCains, Sessions and Ryans, and you hate half of your own people.
So you hate over 75% of Americans, yet you blame 'progressives' for hating America?

I don't recall saying that I hated anybody. As for leading by example, are you referring to President Bowdown and his apology tour? Lastly, math is obviously not your strong suit. Liberal / progressives and their vivid imaginations are quite entertaining! Did you conduct polling prior to 2016?
The results would seem to indicate so.

That's not very patriotic of you.

Explain.
We are a country of importers. A stronger domestic currency means we can import more for less.
... which is the reason exporter countries try to weaken their currency... easier to export.
If you believe cheap imports and a further eroded manufacturing base is a long term benefit for the country then yes, you would see a strong dollar as a benefit.
The issue is this creates an ever widening trade deficit and that is the slow road to oblivion we have been on for almost 50 years now, our goods are to expensive to sell and while theirs are cheaper in USD it is a net neutral to them as their cost is local currency (see China)
Cheap prices for people with no jobs and a government going broke trying to support them is not a winning formula.

So according to your philosophy, I guess our local police department should only patrol the neighborhood's of their respective department members. What about the rest of the city?
What are you talking about? Yes the police departments should only patrol the communities that they represent and are paid by. The New Orleans police department does not patrol Jefferson Parish.
And the Jefferson Parish police department does not patrol New Orleans. And no matter how shitty and undermanned and outgunned the new Orleans police department is, the Jefferson Parish police department does not go over there and provide free protections. It is up to the citizens of Orleans Parish to do better.
Amercia provides a global defense fund on the backs of our tax payers. If you want an American military base and defense for your country you should pay for it.
And like any government program, military included, it only grows. It never shrinks. And eventually you have an entrenched and overbloated bureaucracy that is almost impossible to disassemble.

I say keep our military in top shape and ready to go at a moment's notice.
Where did I say we should not have a military? Patrol our coasts and defend Canada and Mexico as they are directly on our borders.
But the middle east? Korea? Vietnam?
No. We do not need to be providing their national defense and trying to be involved in their politics and giving them aid and funds.

You don't get the analogy. Moving on.
You state that you would defend the borders of Canada and Mexico. Wouldnt a wall separating us from them be cheaper?
Soooooo, what happens when a foreign country takes an adversarial position to the US. What if they invade neighboring countries and upset global trade (Saddam Hussein and oil in the Middle East)? I predict a smaller footprint in terms of bases around the globe, but I also predict a vibrant Navy keeping shipping lanes unabated.
Locking your doors only works with a lazy criminal. A determined one (Russia and China) not so much.

As it relates to US citizens, I disagree. Allowing citizens to have their own opinion (even hating the country in which they live) is one of the most patriotic things that I can imagine. Free thought and free will.
MAGA!
