And Trump is doubling down, as the dollar strengthens he is also cutting aid to all these arseholes. Pretty soon they might have to cut down on their lunch breaks from the UN at 5 star Manhattan restaurants....nah they would rather their people starve, come back after lunch with their bellies full, and blame the US for it.

There is a whole lot of economic ignorance in this post, a stronger dollar benefits them far more than us.

There is a reason currency manipulators always push their currency down not up.

I would imagine that they know what they are missing then in the absence of the now restricted "strong dollars". My guess is that the Trump administration knows how this will impact these countries. Let China support them. Eventually, China will have to intervene in those shitholes and will regret ever being there in the first place.

Here is a quote from Financial Times supporting my thoughts...

A stronger dollar and rising short-term US interest rates have shaken faith across emerging markets with investors dumping stock and bond funds. There are worries that weakness spreads beyond such fragile countries as Turkey, Argentina, Indonesia and India, all of whom have been forced to raise interest rates in an effort to stem currency weakness.

This ignorant one, with nearly 20 years of running businesses internationally with intimate knowledge of the impact of the USDollar on various countries currency....humbly awaits your response.

I’m waiting for his response as well. It’s so easy to make a blanket statement and then not back it up.

We should have withdrawn from Europe and the Middle East and everywhere else after WWII or at the very latest when the wall fell.

We are spread too thin and spending too much money.

Fix your problems at home before you fix your neighbor's.

Well we have massive domestic problems now. Time to stop wasting resources a cross the globe.

We need to rebuild and improve American infrastructure.

I can't speak for everyone, but I'm sick of footing the bill for the rest of the world. Don't curse my way of life and then hold your hand out at dinner time.

What he means is, damit, that’s always the way it’s been, therefore anyone upsetting the status quo must be ignorant.

They don’t know how to handle daddy Trump shaking shite up.

Explain.

We are a country of importers. A stronger domestic currency means we can import more for less.

... which is the reason exporter countries try to weaken their currency... easier to export.

So according to your philosophy, I guess our local police department should only patrol the neighborhood's of their respective department members. What about the rest of the city?

I'm all for pulling money out of these shitholes worldwide. Hell, pull money from EVERYWHERE! But, I say keep our military in top shape and ready to go at a moment's notice.

To keep with my analogy, if the stop and rob down the street gets held up, then how long will it be until your house is next. A strong Police presence can be quite effective, as is a strong military presence. The sword of Damocles is useless as a deterrent unless is dangled above the head.
