Popular pharmacy and store chain Walgreens is giving $25 to people who go get the coronavirus vaccine at their locations from Tuesday to Saturday.
A person who gets vaccinated will either receive a $25 gift card or get rewards on their myWalgreens account, according to a statement from the company released Tuesday.
Children ages 12 to 15 who receive the vaccine are not eligible for the gift card, but their guardian present at the appointment can collect the reward.

“Walgreens is providing the added incentive to encourage more individuals to get a COVID-19 vaccine in support of President Biden’s National Month of Action,” Walgreens said in its statement.

Damn. I took that March 12 address by President Biden to heart and ran out and bought the most expensive Weber grill Home Depot had. It has been sitting in my garage, still boxed, just waiting for this Independence Day barbecue with my family and friends (small group only, as instructed) that I have been planning for months.
Now that I am not allowed to have my barbecue, I called up HD customer service and they are refusing to take my grill back. I told them about what President Biden said, and his apparent failure to deliver on his promise, but they told me that my grill was now outside of their 90 day return period, and their are no exceptions for world leaders with dementia.
