I see posts over and over about Talarico winning in Texas, etc
How Midwest states are going blue…and so on
Well I can tell you it doesn’t surprise me
Most people plain and simple vote with their pocketbooks. And with the prices of gas and food and everything else feeling and looking so high it will not be good for the Republicans
Majority of us on here are on here and pay attention to what’s really happening to this country long term and what has really been going on for 4 decades. The libs have played the long game and trump was a speed bump
Most people, which nowadays they call “independents” don’t follow any of that and love their lives which is why their long game has worked.
Who do you know that’s really “independent” in this environment?!
I think the midterms are gonna be a bloodbath for the republicans and I hope I’m wrong

No such thing as independents anymore. It will depend on who turns out the most voters. Republicans had a better turnout for primaries so if that trend continues, midterms will be fine. Democrats shifted further left in primaries and major incumbents got beat by further left candidates, which doesn’t bode well for democrats.

Kalshi is saying the dems have a 91% chance of taking control of the house

Go make some money if you think this won't happen. It's a once in a lifetime investment opportunity

Democrats are not motivated and will become less so as we get closer to the election. Even democrats can not get excited about such awful candidates representing the democratic party.

The good ones can be counted on one hand.

Usually is for the incumbants.
This is a chance to see what Americans really think of the modern woke DP.

This one seems to be spectacularly self inflicted by Trump

It could have been different this time because the dems have terrible favorability ratings as well

No argument from me. Heavy agreement from me on all that. But you’re gonna be labeled a heretic for saying it, and run out of town. But yeah, this is a very vocal minority amongst other vocal minorities. Ultimately non-representative and inconsequential when all’s said and done. It is pretty interesting though. You run across some interesting specimens for sure. Fa sho.

No one here can run anyone out unless they go crying to the admins

That's been proven beyond any reasonable doubt

We will see. The stellar House and Senate performance did nothing to help.

What have the Ds proposed to do to fight whatever issues they have with the current setting? Raise taxes? Green energy? Stop AI data centers?

Their only solution is impeachment.

Its just OMB bad. I mean look at powermullah hes solely blaming him.

If the Rs lose (they want to) its on them. They have had full power yet again amd didnt do anything.

I disagree. They are constantly getting a healthy diet of TDS from the media, which is feeding the dissatisfaction they get when they go to the gas pumps.

Along with that, the party holding the Oval and both chambers of Congress usually loses at least one chamber during mid-terms.

Trump needs to settle this Iran thing asap to get pump prices down low enough to say prices are lower this year than last year, meanwhile all the Dems have to do is keep the DSA quiet.

So the betting public believes that, after listening to what the media spoonfeeds them.

They paid attention finally to the right signs and things leading up to the last national election. Finally realized how manipulated they had been, and for a long long time. They also realized how vicious and petty and dangerous the Democrats were with the free for all among them as far as literally nothing whatsoever being out of bounds. How cruel various leftist associations and agencies had been to Americans who clearly didn’t deserve it. They finally realized how care free the left is with openly and blatantly abusing “the system” and various aspects of the government, etc etc. And they rebelled and doled out the only punishment/discipline they had access to: voted Republican like never before, not this particular cross section of voters.

So now what has the left/Democrats done to rectify the horrific perception and view of themselves? What have they done to repair their image? And “well Trump and the right have done even worse than what you described above.” Personally, that’s not worth my time or attention it’s so outlandish. Outlandish and wishful.
