So does this mean he can pick an actual good VP instead of one just to pander for votes?

I fully expect him to pick Tim Scott to be his VP.

I do see more black voters relating to him as opposed to Kamala.

It's been long enough - the black community sees that Democrats are not interested in them,

The right needs solid dudes on our side, regardless of race.

Lots of black baws are ready for a better life.

If this polling is accurate, Biden and the dems are finished.

I like Tim but IMO JD Vance would be a much better choice.
Then in 2028 Ron and JD can run against one another.

In terms of substance you are correct. In terms of the optics , which drives voters circa 2024 you are incorrect unfortunately.

I wish there was just the slightest thing interesting or compelling about Tim Scott, but the more I see him, the more I realize there just really isn't.

I know that a lot of us have been cynical about this (pretty sure I personally mocked it in 2020), but it really does seem different this time.

I think that having 4 years of Biden and seeing the inflation and trans shite and open borders and lawfare against Trump had helped pierce the relationship between black men and the Dem party.

I'd also add the rise of independent voices and the decline of mainstream news.

Correct! He is like a “game manager” QB. We don’t need that. We need a Josh All or Patrick Mahomes here.
