That's your (incorrect) opinion.

Conservative politics shouldn't be bigger to you than America itself.
Conservatism IS America. Anyone who disagrees with this should be labeled an enemy of the state and to republican government. McCain failed because he lacked the courage to stand on principle unless it was convenient for him. He voted down the repeal of Obamacare because of a petty dispute with President Trump - a petty dispute that he started.
The little shite loved to hide behind his service record and made sure everyone knew about it. If he had never gotten himself shot down and captured, no one would have ever given a shite about his service during the Vietnam War.
What I love the most is that his daughter lambasts Trump for living a life of privilege while forgetting that her fat arse lived in a mansion the majority of her life, too! It's also very easy to get what McCain accomplished when your daddy and grand daddy are 4-star admirals in the U.S. Navy.
In the immortal words of Barack Obama he (John McCain) "didn't build that." He stood on the shoulders of men who came before him and reaped the benefits created by their individual legacies. The man then used his family name to launch a career into politics. In that regard, Trump and McCain are very similar to each other, using their fathers as a launchpad to create their own legacies.
So don't give me this shite about McCain's legacy because it's nothing more than a legacy of glass.

At this point in American history conservative patriots are the only hope America has if America is to exist as the founders intended.

Megan McCain is one hell of an unhappy person. I wish her no ill happenings, she is punished enough just going home each night, and looking in the mirror.

McCain ain't perfect by any means. But as an American and statesman he is a far preferable model than Trump. If every POTUS going forward on the right or left is molded out of Trump this country is positively fricked.
I don't like political insults, but let's not pretend this is anything new or disastrous for America. Our Founding Fathers threw them around all the time. Take Adams:
ON BENJAMIN FRANKLIN
"His whole life has been one continued insult to good manners and to decency."
ON ALEXANDER HAMILTON
"That bastard brat of a Scottish peddler! His ambition, his restlessness and all his grandiose schemes come, I'm convinced, from a superabundance of secretions, which he couldn't find enough whores to absorb!"
ON THOMAS PAINE'S COMMON SENSE
"What a poor, ignorant, malicious, crapulous mass."
ON GEORGE WASHINGTON
"That Washington is not a scholar is certain. That he is too illiterate, unlearned, unread for his station is equally beyond dispute."
ON THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA
"Phyladelphia [sic], with all its trade and wealth and regularity, is not Boston. The morals of our people are much better; their manners are more polite and agreeable... Our language is better, our taste is better, our persons are handsomer; our spirit is greater, our laws are wiser, our religion is better, our education is better. We exceed them in every thing, but in a market."

Thanks for proving Meghan, John, and the rest of real American patriots right about Trump and his loyalists. If anyone is the enemy of this country it is you and yours.

It’s really sad how bitter the McCain family became.

The ironic thing about your statement: I'm not a Trump loyalist nor did I vote for him in the general election. I'm just not a fan of faux conservatives and the McCain family are poster children for that type of conservative Republican.

You can't expect the daughter who was raised by a bitter, vengeful, narcissist to not have some of those traits. I hope getting it off her chest helps her grieving process.

Amazing that Trump has been in the McCain family’s heads since he decided to run for president
I loved Trump’s, “POWs aren’t war heroes” quote
Since then McCain was possessed mentally with Trump. Maybe his brain had Trump disease?
Oh well

I'm going to admit that Trump was not my 1st choice for a Republican primary winner but once I fully understood what the hell he was up against he received my unwavering support. Trump was the only candidate from the republican side that had enough brass in his sack to defeat the Swamp candidate and for that he will always have my respect.

What she said is in quotes above. She didn't mention Trump by name. She's got a point. her father endured unfathomable torture while in service to this country. Trump is a coward who used his daddy's money to not serve this country. Trumpkins are fine with this though.
Once again, “everybody else is perfect and Trump is a do-do head”....we get it already okay?

more tasteless than McCain telling the folks planning his funeral to make sure Trump and Palin aren't there.
It's his funeral. I think he can ban whomever he chooses. Not tasteless at all.

I can actually give him a pass on Trump, but Palin?
No don’t you know that Songbird McCain could never do wrong in his own mind. Palin is the reason why he wasn’t The President. Just like all the mishaps in the Navy were never his fault. Guess it is what happens when you are raised with the privilege of being an Admirals son and getting every door opened when it shouldn’t have from Annapolis on while in the military.
