Exactly. She is an attention whore. If she can't get attention with being non binary she always has though huge swords hanging off her glasses. She will literally do anything to get the slightest bit of attention.

By no means “a small dilemma “. There is no painless fix for this person’s problem. Even if societal culture and norms accept her condition as normal and harmless, the need for love and validation will remain once the ‘new’ wears off the self v society romance. I guess that just being a normal and responsible person who derives love and respect from a grateful family is not enough for their attention appetite. Narcissistic extremes rule this time. I fear it will get a LOT crazier than now. Lord come quickly.
