Since so many in this thread are CONVINCED that no one will seize their bank accounts unless THEY have done something wrong, I'll just leave this link: LINK
And that's just a single example. We don't have any idea how many other "secret" rules the IRS has to just swoop in and take money.
I'm not suggesting this is the only reason some don't have bank accounts. Undoubtedly, there are a lot of illegals involved. But for people to thumb their noses at me for suggesting last night that the government might seize your account for no real reason, just shows how little most people actually know.

Sooooo....the IRS is behind the release of the Wuhan flu from that lab...to get Dontravius' bank account. I knew it!

I have worked with a lot of construction workers that claim “married and 99” on every job. A lot of them don’t even bother to file taxes because they know they will owe massive amounts to the IRS. This particular type of character generally doesn’t have checking accts because they fear that the govt will seize any monies connected with their SSN. They also have problems drawing unemployment, and I am quite sure that they will have trouble with their pensions and annuities when they retire. It is a choice they made. I have seen some coworkers do some extremely stupid stuff.

Change the subject when the evidence comes in... Why do I bother?
This has nothing to do with WuFlu. The IRS isn't even an actual branch of the government. They're a private entity, who operates as a Gestapo.

The example you just gave was of people not paying taxes. Which, when one examines the tax code, income taxes only apply to residents of Washington DC, and the income tax, itself, was never even ratified. But that's a rabbit hole nobody goes down, because they know no one will ever listen to them. It's just become accepted that we "must" pay taxes. And so, if you don't pay taxes, you already know you're going to get in trouble.
The link I just posted is about people who abide by these "laws" and they STILL had their accounts seized.
I don't know how else to spell this out to anyone.

I was just pointing out that quite a few people don’t have checking accounts. I should have looked at your link before replying.

I'm not arguing that point. I'm certain you're right. I was just trying to offer some insight on some alternate reasons why someone other than illegals wouldn't have bank accounts. People collectively rolled their eyes at me.
Just wanted to show them what I'm talking about.
