No shite Sherlock, that’s why New Orleans is a hotspot. But for every handful of locals, there was a tourist from somewhere else in the country, especially Texas.

Fewer obesity and underlying health issues both of which weaken the immune system, diet and exercise, staying away from 6 hour church services in a closed environment, no Cantrell's, the good sense to stay away from weeks long drunk fests in the streets. Chose any six.

Problems are brewing in the south. Centered on La. and Georgia which shares some of the same issues as La. plus Atlanta. And Florida where the Yankees are running too and the winter draw of the beach. Our turn in the hole could be ahead of us.

Texas has a more expansive area for people to spread out in, and does not have a city where people insisted on getting shoulder to shoulder during the early stages of the dempanic.

Sorry to sound so mean, but NO got exactly what was expected. New York is suffering the same consequences.

Texas still remembers the last large exodus out of New Orleans and the permanent effect it had on their crime rate. Once burned, twice shy.

(Obviously this doesn’t apply to the tens of thousands of jobs that DumbBel has sent them over the past 4 years)
