I think she should have asked her husband to back out of the parking spot and then pull ahead about 50 yards while holding the others at bay since she already drew Her firearm. Then calmly walk to the vehicle while still pointing her gun at the crowd. Get in and hit the gas at that point. Husband getting out cost him his job.

That applies to people resisting.

If I’m under assault or believe my life is in danger that can’t be the same as people resisting.

I get what you are saying though.

Yeah its written as law enf training, but it follows the reasonable man test as to justification, so it will apply to a civilian in a defense situation.

But isn’t it written to address people resisting lawful orders?

What makes this worse to me is it validates the trash that instigated this shite. What the hell is to stop them from doing this and then some next time?

Also, i know how words are twisted, so i would prepare a written statement for the police on scene. Troopers often try to confuse you by repeating back what you said, often twisting the meaning.

Yes but it is exactly how a court will look at it. Attorneys are aware of the force continum. The main key is Would a reasonable person
( typical upstanding citizen ) have been in fear under those same circumstances?

The Jurors !!!

She should have just killed them. They all had it coming anyways

And she’d be in jail. In fact, had that situation escalated to the black family attacking her and she shot and killed one of them, she would almost certainly be convicted. Reason? They would argue that she had an opportunity to deescalate the situation by apologizing, but instead refused, knowing she could use force if necessary. There have been numerous examples of this in recent years and current climate is making it worse.

You won’t be using verbal commands or hands on such as pressure points. But you come into play beginning with intermediate weapons, up to deadly force.

Show the jury videos of people being pulled from their cars and assaulted.

The black woman was not going to be tempered. She was irrationally angry.

Oh, you’re absolutely right. They usually are. But this is the angle that would be taken. There is case law to support it.

So, can someone just tell me why she wanted an apology? I don't want to watch the video.
