"That was her goal." Well, that clears that up. She had a goal, and she succeeded. I don't think getting shot was one of her goals. But, congratulations for meeting and exceeding your goals.

Sad thing is if the woman would have stayed home and taken care of her children she would still be alive. Sticking her nose into business she didn't belong and those are the results, actions have consequences.
She didn't even need to do this^^^^, she could have been noncompliant, remained in her car and let the ICE agents figure out what to do with her, instead she stomps on the gas pedal.....dumb move.

I think something to contemplate is that she was criminally interfering in a legal law enforcement operation. At that point law enforcement had the legal authority to detain her. Attempting to flee after being given a legal command to stop is a continuation of the crime. Running an officer over in this scenario is going to get you shot every single time.... also of note is the position of the officer doing the shooting changes not because he changed position but rather because SHE changed the orientation of the vehicle. His original position is on the right passenger side. As she proceeds through the 3 point turn he finds himself head up with vehicle and no longer safely positioned on the passenger side. At that moment its life or death with no room between them.

I know they don't have the power. That does not stop them as they are lawless and do what they want. They won't be stopped until the barrel of a gun is in their face.
