Yes Louisiana is the standard to which every state should aspire. It’s always someone from Louisiana with an incest comment. I wonder why?

You'd be surprised...There are many cases of siblings having an incestuous relationship, consensually.

How is killing one baby different than a soldier killing somebody in a war?

killing a baby is for the convenience of one person whose actions are directly responsible for whatever inconvenience may be encountered. The mother is directly responsible for her actions both for the inception of the baby and for the impending decision on whether to take the baby's life.

Killing an enemy in a war does not arise from any causative action by the soldier involved and the action is governed by the wisdom (or folly) of people whose authority is to prosecute the interests of a great number of people - morally right or wrong on either side a war does not devolve to the individual soldier following his lawful orders. War is hell.

But your idiotic question does not warrant a reasoned response.

This is just to shove your ignorance right up your arse sideways.
If it can get past your head.

That's weird, but should they get to kill a baby over it?

No one "gets to kill babies" as infanticide is already illegal in all 50 states. Should a pregnant person get to decide whether or not they continue a pregnancy, all the way to gestational completion? ABSO-frickING-LUTELY they do. As it's their body that would be used like a host vessel for the better part of a year.

I was thinking more accidental, such as they were adopted and didn’t know.

OK. It was an accident that two cousins got together. Why should they get to abort a baby? They could have done a blood test or 23 and Me before the wedding.

I don’t agree with it. Just stating the possible logic.

What if the incest occurred between two consenting adults? Isn't that what we've been told regarding other deviant behavior?

OP, I am with you. Murder is murder regardless of how conception was achieved. That said incest and rape are abhorrent also.

The Bible says that God knew you in the womb. It really doesn’t seem like there is a lot of freedom of maneuver for Christians on this subject.

The difference is rape isn't consensual.

Why should we place non-consensual sex on the same pedastool as icky consensual sex.

I think I get your point...I don't think many others did.

So what you're saying is that it's redundant...incest is virtually always statutory rape, so why mention the incest, because it's already covered under rape. I guess you could have the rare case where a woman wants to frick her cousin but just doesn't want to have his child. Maybe that's why.

I believe much incest would be non-consensual, according to the legal definition of consent. It's a horrible reality, but grandfathers do have sex with their underage granddaughters
