People, for the most part, vote with their wallets. From the bump in Republican approval ratings that we got after the new tax plan started hitting people's finances, Republicans closed in polling data on the Democrats.

We need to double down on that tax plan and do something that puts even more money in the pockets of the American worker. I would like to see a smaller budget but that ship has already sailed. What else could Republicans do to get more money in the pockets of Americans and take more seats come November?

I don't think what the Democrats are pushing right now is a winning strategy with a pretty big majority of Americans. I think them saying shite like "breadcrumbs" and fighting for illegal aliens over the citizenry is gonna cost them. We have to capitalize on their mistake.

1. Do whatever it takes to put more money in workers' pockets. I don't know who or what masterminded the $1000 bonus deal, but it was genius. Whatever it takes to convince more companies to make those investments and then actually broadcast them to Americans would be great. People talking about a good economy is almost a self-fulfilling prophecy.

2. Immigration is a winning issue with low income voters of all races. They should beat the drum of "merit-based" and "skilled" immigration over and over.

3. Tell the Evangelicals to kick rocks, that there will be no place in the party for anti-gay legislation or rhetoric. Every GOP candidate should wave a Pride flag at their campaign rallies and say they want a safe, prosperous America for all citizens.

4. Pay the Clintons to take care of any Todd Akin/Roy Moore types that decide to run.

Gays, like blacks, will never vote Republican and you know this. Why would they ostracize a huge part of their base for a very small group of people who were never going to vote red to begin with?

Yep, don't let the dems set the narrative. talk straight to the people.

Both Trump and Pence were great at this. I LOVED Pence in the debates shaking his head and smiling at Cain dismissing him as childish. It was brilliant. He looked like the venerable father/grandfather who was laughing at a petulant child.

Because white women love gays, and white women decide elections.

Trump proved handily that evangelicals will not abandon the GOP in any actionable numbers.

To quote one of Louisiana's own who may not always be bright ,but did have this one saying that is correct...

Republicans need to stay on message with Tax reform, deregulation, and a surging economy.

I’m of that opinion as well. Is there anything coming down the pipeline in regards to tax cuts or regulations?

In Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan they absolutely did. Romney won white women in Wisconsin 51/49 in 2012. Trump won the entire state 47/46 in 2016. What do you think his margin was there?

Pretty hard to do that when you have Mike Pence as the vice President.

Anyone remember the days when Conservatives pretended to care about debt and deficits. I remember those days.

Yeah, they only say that when they’re trying to get elected. There’s only one it seems like that gives a damn about the addiction of the federal government in regards to spending.

Dumb shite above...

Evangelicals make up 50% of the Republican base.

Tell me where you are going to pull extra votes from?
