Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump leave the stage after the first presidential debate of 2016 in Hempstead, N.Y. Should she come back for Round Two?

It’s time for Hillary Clinton to come out of retirement, lace up the gloves and get back in the ring with President Trump for what would be the biggest political rematch ever.

Call me crazy, but from what I’ve seen so far, Clinton is the only candidate short of Barack Obama who has the brains, the battle-tested brawn and the national presence to take out Trump. And Obama can’t run.

Bernie Sanders was fading even before his heart started acting up. Joe Biden has become Trump’s main talking point in the whole Ukraine-China impeachment mess, which hardly helps him. And he wasn’t exactly running away with it before that.

About this Author

Two-term mayor of San Francisco, renowned speaker of the California Assembly, and widely regarded as the most influential African American politician of the late twentieth century, Willie L. Brown, Jr. has been at the center of California politics, government and civic life for four decades. His career spans the American presidency from Lyndon Johnson to George W. Bush, and he’s worked with every California governor from Pat Brown to Arnold Schwarzenegger. From civil rights to education reform, tax policy, economic development, health care, international trade, domestic partnerships and affirmative action, he’s left his imprimatur on every aspect of politics and public policy in the Golden State. As mayor of California’s most cosmopolitan city, he refurbished and rebuilt the nation’s busiest transit system, pioneered the use of bond measures to build affordable housing, created a model juvenile justice system, and paved the way for a second campus of UCSF to serve as the anchor of a new development that will position the city as a center for the burgeoning field of biotechnology.

Today, he heads the Willie L. Brown Jr. Institute on Politics and Public Service, where he shares his knowledge and skills with a new generation of California leaders.

How much do you think HRC paid him to endorse her over Kamala Harris? Seriously probably 5Mil. She has said she will do it different this time, and I would bet the farm Bill has been coaching her to feel peoples pain.

It would be a dream come true if hillbitch, at the last second, forced herself onto the ballot.

She'd royally frick over the other Democrat candidates, and she'd lose to trump even worse than she did in 2016.

Having Brown come out for hillary will do more to sink the Harris campaign than the Gabbard attack in the debate.

Hey Willie! Didn't Hillary have the brains, the brawn and the battle-tested experience back in 2016? Oh, and 2008?

Seriously, how can ANYONE still believe that hag is some kind of political mastermind?

I honestly didn't think she was running, but Biden's demise (were the Clintons involved?), coupled with Crooked sudden reemergence from the abyss certainly makes it look otherwise. Willie Brown's comments were probably orchestrated to plant a seed in people's minds that she could be the "savior" of the Democrat Party in 2020.

I could've sworn that Crooked had already aligned herself with Pocahontas, though. How will Lizzie Warren, the clear frontrunner at this juncture, react if and when Hildabeast announces her candidacy?

Willie is looking for entertainment. He knows that Trump would demolish her.

She's done nothing to improve her image in the last 4 years. In fact, she's become even more shrill and unlikable...if that's even possible.

If the up coming OIGDOJ report says that HRC colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 election she gets cover of running again...

I would love to be a fly on the wall of the Warren war room should clinton announce her candidacy.

Time to take the yellow hair down again.
