I agree, but if there is clear evidence of such, why are we letting millions go without jobs and basically shutting things down for some long con? Why not present the facts and get it over with. Using the American people as pawns in some long con chess game should make him just a culpable. That’s my premise.

Additionally, if he had a clear cut and dry case like this, he is just a culpable for not bringing these people to justice. You can’t withhold information like that for some kind of gotcha and then let everyone run free while people are losing their jobs and livelihoods.

Agreed 100%.

They're actually obligated to bring this down. People need to be informed. We are about to have an election.

Motherfricker, you were pushing the idea that Donald Trump was a Russian Agent. Gtfo with this shite.

Negative. I’ve never thought that or made that argument.

But back to your theory. Regardless of who has committed treason, that still doesn’t address the fact that neither Trump or Barr have constitutional authority to suspend the election. That is what the injunction would address. Trump and Barr can reason their way into constitutional authority.

So China released a bio weapon against us specifically (it just also happened to severely harm their own country and the rest of the world as well) and the Democratic Party helped them do it? And that’s the reason to suspend the election?

No one wants to address the fact that if there is such clear and cut evidence of such, withholding the information and doing nothing about It should be just as bad of a crime. We just let millions of Americans go without jobs and pump out trillions in stimulus for a long con gotcha?

Apparently Mike Pompeo testified under oath today that this question of whether or not Trump can unilaterally suspend an election is in Barr's court.
Dumb. The election date is a Congressional decision. There is no chance SCOTUS would support the Executive Branch usurping determination of an election date. It would be a 9-0 slapdown.

Here's another lovely fact involving delaying the election.
The terms of the President and the Vice President end at noon on January 20th.
That is written in stone.

If this mail-in crap results in counts, recounts, lawsuits, etc, which extend past Jan 20, not only will it destroy public confidence, but depending on Congressional makeup, Pelosi might be able to step in as POTUS until the election is settled.

so let me see barr now has power over congress. yeah right

Just emulating the precedent established by Obama/Holder/SCOTUS = one POTUS' "Executive Order" must be honored - even passed on to his successors - even if the POTUS declared it was UNCONSTITUTIONAL numerous times, but just got tired of "congress not playing ball," so he picked up his 'pen and pencil" and now the SCOTUS says === "ALL OK"

Isn't that the way things go now??

If not, why not??

Barr has a lot of authority right now. He always does, but especially now.

He does not have the authority to alter the date of the election.

No, it’s not. Congress picks the date.

Developing evidence during an ongoing investigation is always presumed. This is logic and reality, NOT law.

Yep. Ray Charles could have seen that coming. Trump is stringing them along. He should sign an EO to suspend the elections.

It may or may not stand, but it would give him the opportunity to make the case in court for why he believes it needs to be done.

"Immediate impeachment and removal" can be otherwise read as, "holy frick, if he goes through with this the entire house of cards falls apart." Imo anyways.
