They seem in conflict with Roe and PP v. Casey. Despite what some contend on both sides, I simply don't see either of those rulings being overturned. I'm a lawyer, but not really an expert in that sense, but it seems unlikely that we're really heading there.

That said, are we all getting in a fuss over laws that will be snuffed out sooner rather than later anyway?

Definitely. You should absolutely be able to murder a child even after it has a brain and a heartbeat and eyes and hands and feet because not murdering it might slightly inconvenience someone. That's just common sense and I can't understand why anyone would feel differently.

Don't want your kid? Stab it in the head and throw it in the trash. It's your kid and no one can tell you what to do with it. Besides, if it's having a bad life anyway its not worth keeping alive.

I think the USSC will reverse Roe in the summer or early fall of 2020. Then abortion will be left to the states and abortion, as a political issue, will favor the Democrats for the first time. Clearly, a majority of Americans do NOT want Roe reversed.

I asked the legal question this time, not the moral one. I honestly agree with you in what abortion is and that it's the killing of a human life, and that the life begins upon the formation of the embryo. I just think, legally, these laws are contradictory to Roe and its progeny, and that it's seriously doubtful those decisions actually get overturned by SCOTUS.

Yes. They will never go into effect.

They are political grandstanding and nothing more.

Not grandstanding, act 1 of the process. It's coming libtards, and you can't do anything about it.
