Trump has no problem telling anyone who will listen what he plans and wants to do.

Bassent nailed it when he spoke about the next couple of years.... the Strait will not be as important as it is today.
Those ME countries along the Strait have began building pipelines which will negate the need for the Strait to move their oil.
That on top of the sanctions and the damage inflicted on Iran will severely reduce Iran's influence and threat in the ME. All they will have left is their savages strapping bombs to themselves.
