ISPs are not fleas. You have no concept of what it would cost for content providors to blanket the United States with their own infrastructure end to end.

You try to boil this down to a macroeconomics course you took when you were 18 because you simply dont have the background to understand the real issues...

This dude has become a crusader against NN because the ISPs were smart enough to hire folks to lobby his favorite politicians. Definition of being a tool of the state and he calls himself conservative.

Hey. I totally get this.

What you guys don't seem to get is you hate Comcast(I do too). NN does NOTHING to solve that problem for you. You hate it WITH NN. Slow your roll a second and contemplate that.

Your own argument is that NN has been the defacto rules forever.........and you fricking HATE all the ISPs. Now, if you did slow your roll............as yourself. Does NN create ANY impetus at all to change that?

Now, let's talk some real truth.

Those ISPs know their days are numbered. They're all fricking Blockbuster video for all practical purposes. Yeah. They think removing NN gives them some ability to engage the big dogs.

And, they're probably right.

Alas, it's a fool's errand. Those big dogs had 10 inch teeth and the little dogs are fricking Yorkies nipping on their heels.

A lot of shite will play out. No. I can't predict the twists and turns.

But, if I had to bet my house on it right now, I would say that in 10 years, you will look back at Comcast and it's friends like you look at Sears today(do you know liberals as recently as the 90s worried about Sears having "too much market power!!!"

You see. This is just laziness.

I mean, rather than actually discuss with you I could simply dismiss your thoughts as "you've become a crusader for NN because lobbyists paid your favorite politicians to convince you".

You see how non-intellectual that is?

Yet you have difficulty explaining how legally this can't happen.

Ah, the 'fairness' argument. It was only a matter of time.

That's all this REALLY is about.

For all the scary "what ifs" out there, the REAL bitching is being driven by a fear that granny who barely uses the net won't pay much while gamer dude who only comes out of his basement once a month might pay out the arse.

EXACTLY. PROGRESSIVES believe that if they Lervvv it, then it is a “need” that everyone else should pay for.

They make me want to puke.

Oh come on.

You don't think that a potentially higher price is "fair" because it doesn't meet your sense of morality, because it doesn't meet what you want.

A normal consumer who doesn't think an offer is fair doesn't buy the product but not you.

No, you want big daddy government to go beat up the seller and force him to sell at a price that fits your view. What the seller thinks is fair has no relevance to you as long as you get your way.

Do Progressives not consistently accuse those on the right of favoring only the powerful, and placing themselves on the side they think will appear more sympathetic?

The use of the word was deliberate. There are other typos in my OP, but that wasn’t one of them.

This whole NN meltdown is based on a PR campaign by multi billion dollar businesses That are content providers trying to appear more sympathetic.

Not the same usage as asserted above. I think maybe plebeian or proletariat was what you were looking for.

You misused a word. Just fix it or get over it. Don't make it worse.
