Very few people qualify to own automatic weapons and as of today not one of them that are legally owned has been used in criminal activity.
A ban on semi-automatic weapons would lead to war.
What the left doesn't know is that the popularity of the AR platform has lead to so many derivatives that establishing a ban on "assault rifles" and/or AR 15s" is virtually impossible.

Ban them from purchase until u reach a decent age of maturity only. That is the most ground i would give
