Not gray at all. An issue like that shouldn't be political, or polarizing at all. Someone not being served because the color of their skin is something that any objectively decent person can agree is wrong, regardless of left, or right.

So you do believe in black & white, you just expect everybody to agree with you on when something is gray and when something isn’t. That doesn’t sound very moderate.

If you think that AggieHank is a “left wing extremist” you’re a idiot. I don’t agree with him on some things but he usually brings a rational argument to the table, this board is just full of far-right people that refuse to hear rational arguments. Very similar to the wack jobs in the left. Whether your dumbass believes it or not, most of the country has the same views as aggiehank and myself. This board is not a reflection of the majority, same as democratic underground.

I don’t think you now what the word moderate means. Lacking the desire to express a political opinion is very different from having a middle of the road political opinion. Take a person who considers climate change to be an important issue but is also very pro 2A. They don’t have a home in farther spaces of either camp.

Moderates are people without values, convictions, or principles who try to live on both sides of the fence in order to be accepted by those on either side and give a false appearance of objectivity. Neither side can trust them. Neither side respects them. Both sides despise them and rightly so. Because they’re unprincipled morons.

Or they believe what they believe, that both sides have good views on certain topics? You’re a idiot that cannot listen to people with different views than you. I’m a moderate, I lean left socially and right fiscally. I’m voting trump because he actually leans left on social issues (the dems are stupid for thinking he doesn’t) and he has done wonders for the economy. In 2024 there’s a chance I vote for a dem if the person isn’t a radical or I could vote for the republican or I could vote independent. I will vote for who lines up with the majority of my beliefs, I don’t change them to fit the hot topic of the day like a lot of you do. That is the opposite of a person without principles, it shows I do have principles and stand by them.

frick off.

I have a strong love of the second amendment and have a lot of guns, but think they people who walk around an airport with their AR-15 to exercise their right are absolute retards.

I like 80% of the stuff Trump does but don’t like 20% of it(!!!)

I fricking hate the BLM movement but I also hate my redneck family members who just post stupid gotchas on Facebook and think they are being patriots.

If you said shite like this to my face I would put you in a moderate coma with a baseball bat.

That’s precisely why the word is meaningless. Someone could lean right socially and left fiscally, making them your polar opposite politically, but they could claim the mantle of “moderate” just like you do. And since it is meaningless, it makes me wonder why people are so eager to describe themselves in that way. It’s as if they believe it’s inherently virtuous to be “moderate”.

Now you did it....

*I think it's dumb walking around with an AR period. Unless you are actually using it.

I’m pro choice

Gay people should be able to get married

I don’t care what an adult thinks their gender is and what they do to their body (transgenders) just don’t push that on kids, they can’t make that decision yet.

I’m pro second amendment but believe there should be stronger background checks and we need to fix the gun show loophole.

The government doesn’t belong in healthcare

We need to move jobs back to America

College shouldn’t be free and the federal government needs to get out of the student loan business

We need to create an actual budget and decrease the deficit we are in

We need to stop buying everything from China

See how that works or are you to stupid to understand that people can have different views than group think? You are the problem with this country and you are no different than the wack jobs on the far left.

You beat the hell out of a straw man, I’ll give you that. Let me know if you want to respond to what I actually posted, which was (again, since you have comprehension issues) that the term “moderate” is meaningless.

You did, however, confirm that you’re one of the people who thinks it’s inherently virtuous. Pretty much everybody has a set of views that can’t be defined by groupthink to varying degrees. You’re not special.

To me independents just have a wide range of views that fall on both sides of the aisle and vote each cycle based on which of those topics is most important at the time.

Moderates are different. Moderates change their views constantly to “get along” and follow the political winds. They are weak minded people
