I don't think Newsome would be a good POTUS candidate. What's he going to run on?
How well California is doing? Michelle comes with no baggage and would attract more voters than Newsome.

Whether he likes it or not, he’d be running on the hypocrisy of huddling closely with friends at the French Laundry restaurant during the same exact week he prohibited his constituents from doing same, and accommodating his own kids with in person schooling while simultaneously prohibiting same amongst his constituents, and California’s wonderful crime statistics, and pushing for reparations in his state, and so on and so on. I can only imagine the citizens of those all important midwestern swing states loving all of that so much. Lol

Hussein appointed and positioned active Muslim Brotherhood Members into every level of our Gov’t, with emphasis in the Department of Defense.
