EBR spends $10,755.00 per student
Zachary $9,780.00 per student
Katy ISD $8,596.00 per student.
Cy_Fair spends $7,967.00 per student.
I can tell you that Cy-Fair is building 4-5 new schools every year and constantly upgrading.
Don't let some of the people on the OT fool you and say there is no difference between Cy-Fair schools or schools in Prarieville or Central or Zachary, etc.. my neighbors teachers and with the huge influx of Louisiana people into Houston area the children often need tutors in many subjects including those from private schools.
Starting teacher salary in Cy-Fair ISD is $53K with BS. EBR $44,500.00 with a BA degree,$48,400.00 with a PHD.
One has to wonder what EBR is spending their money on.
It all starts with education

Nothing makes me madder than listening to the radio commercials for choose EBR parish schools. Like why are you recruiting kids to join a school district when every kid means less money per kid. Improve what your are doing for the students you have then work on reaching out to new students
