Why is this "YOUTH" on White family attack not considered a Hate Crime?

Mother and father beat up in front of their child. Pack of young Black men take off ALL Of their clothes next to this family. They were asked to please not expose themselves in front of their daughter. The pack goes ballistic and proceeds to beat the crap out of the White parents. If the races were reversed, Rev Al would have already shut Panama City down. The youth were only charged with battery.

The incident in Baton Rouge a few years ago should have showed us people of color cannot be charged with hate crimes

Again, why anyone leaves home not carrying a weapon is beyond me. It is to the point where I am finding it harder and harder to have empathy for people who do this.

Panama beach is on the Florida panhandle, it's not Fort Lauderdale. That's really odd behavior for a car load of guys black or not, why would they pull up to the beach in their truck and strip naked. I must be missing something. I know dudes don't always look gay but even then it's very odd.
I don't know what really happened, and given the state of the media I'm sure we never will, but I'm thinking there is more to this story.

Maybe they thought If they were naked everyone could tell they were not armed so you can’t shoot them. They felt it gave them free reign to beat people without fear of being shot? Probably learned that trick from some kind of handbook.
