Why is Joe Biden refusing to release his short list for SCOTUS nominees?

Possibilities:
1. The list is too radical and he knows many Americans won't vote for him when they see a list with names like Stacy Abrams, or some white-hating, BLM radical
2. The list isn't radical enough and he knows he'll lose the support of some progressives if he releases it to the public.
3. Corn Pop is at the top of the list. Corn Pop is a bad dude. Where's my chain and my rusty knife?

I love that he's stuck in this dilemma. Trump has zero fricks to give and essentially is already nominating one

Biden knows if he puts anything specific on the record he will make some voters mad. He’d better off talking in generalities and not being specific.

After his promise to appoint a black woman, I did a little research and there aren't really any candidates that fit the modern qualification standards (under the age of 60, graduate of Harvard/Yale/Stanford - followed by clerking on SCOTUS - followed by professorship or work at a stepping stone org - followed by appointment to the circuit ct of appeals).
There are a few that come close, but you don't hear much about them.
He kind of painted himself into a corner on this tbh.

Bingo. They are prepping him for the debate and don't want to confuse him with new information he has to learn.
