It hit an area of Italy with a very high percentage of very old people. Italy has a lot of old people but you know what I didn't see in Italy? Walkers. Wheelchairs. Fat people. It's sad that they're losing their aged populatin. Not a lot of fat fricks using walkers and wheelchairs like here.

I’ve been there. Italy is a third world country outside the big cities.

Same reason that nursing home in Washington has such a high mortality rate; the people that are getting it are a more susceptible group than the general population.
